How does the GeoTag work?

 

The GeoTag we offer through our Single Tag solution recognizes the user’s IP and from there it determines whether or not to run the tag in that country, based on what the publisher previously decided.

When the browser attempts to load our tag, we place the request through a firewall. This firewall checks the country of origin of the request. If the request comes from a blacklisted country, the system will block it, and the tag will not load. However, if it comes from an approved country, the tag will load and function normally.
