Google Search Central is back at it again. Barely two months after the last one, Google recently announced the rollout of its August 2026 spam g\u00fcncellemesi<\/a>. Google has finished rolling out its August spam update. According to Google Search Central\u2019s LinkedIn<\/a> post, this is a normal spam update, and it applies to all languages and locations. It targets sites violating Google\u2019s search spam policies. According to the Google Search Status Dashboard<\/a>, the rollout began on August 18th and was complete by August 21st, taking 2 days and 16 hours in total.<\/p>\n

This is the third spam update Google has released in 2026. If your rankings have moved recently or you noticed a shift in your traffic, it’s worth checking whether the timing lines up with this rollout.<\/p>\n
