Kaum hatten wir begonnen, die Abschaffung von Third-Party-Cookies zu verdauen, da kamen schon weitere Neuigkeiten von Google. Ab Q1 2024 wird Google ein Update auf Consent Mode v2 vorschreiben, was bedeutet, dass eine zertifizierte (von Google, versteht sich) CMP-Plattform ben\u00f6tigt wird, um die Tracking-Daten der Nutzer zu sammeln. Angesichts der Cookie-Abschaffung ist dies nicht \u00fcberraschend und h\u00e4tte in gewisser Weise erwartet werden k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n

Der Google Consent Mode ist eine M\u00f6glichkeit f\u00fcr Google, ein Zustimmungsignal von Ihrer Website zu erhalten. Grunds\u00e4tzlich erm\u00f6glicht er es Ihnen zu bestimmen, ob Ihre Website-Besucher der Verwendung ihrer pers\u00f6nlichen Daten durch Google zu Werbezwecken, einschlie\u00dflich Tracking und Anpassung, zugestimmt haben.<\/p>\n

Somit k\u00f6nnen Nutzer Google ihre Informationen lesen lassen oder sie blockieren. Da Google unter der DMA der Haupt-Gatekeeper ist (Digital Markets Act<\/a>es hat Einfluss und versucht, das Problem des Teilens pers\u00f6nlicher Informationen im Zustimmungsmodus anzugehen, der sicherstellt, dass Nutzer Google erlauben, sie zu verfolgen und zu messen.<\/p>\n

F\u00fcr Verlage macht es derzeit keinen Unterschied, ob sie eine professionelle CMP installiert haben.<\/span> Ab M\u00e4rz 2024 wird Google Publisher dazu verpflichten, einen Consent Mode mit einer von Google zertifizierten CMP zu verwenden, sofern sie weiterhin Google-Tools (AdSense, GA4, Google Tag Manager etc.) nutzen m\u00f6chten. Die Hauptproblematik besteht somit darin, dass Websites keine kostenlosen Open-Source-CMP-L\u00f6sungen mehr nutzen k\u00f6nnen, sondern professionelle Tools ben\u00f6tigen, wenn sie weiterhin Nutzerverhalten verfolgen und analysieren wollen.<\/p>\n

Erfolgreiche Werbung h\u00e4ngt von einer pr\u00e4zisen Leistungsmessung ab. Ohne Einwilligung riskieren Werbetreibende, 30\u201360 % ihrer Daten zu verlieren, wobei das Ausma\u00df je nach Branche variiert. Daher ist die Implementierung oder Aktualisierung des CMP auf den Consent Mode v2 f\u00fcr Unternehmen unerl\u00e4sslich, die Google Ads weiterhin in ihrem Marketingansatz auf den EWR-M\u00e4rkten nutzen m\u00f6chten.<\/p>\n
